P Diddy’s allegations leave public in shock

Sean Combs, better known as P Diddy, an American record producer and rapper, has recently faced arrest and several allegations and is now in jail awaiting trial. P Diddy has produced many people such as Mariah Carey, Mary J Blige, Jennifer Lopez and The Notorious B.I.G. After months of sexual abuse allegations and lawsuits, Combs was arrested on Sept.16 for sex trafficing by force, racketeering conspiracy, fraud, coercion and transporting for prostitution. He has been accused of kidnapping, drugging and coercing women into sexual acts, sometimes through firearms or violence.

Last November, Cassandra Ventura, Combs’ ex girlfriend, started what would become a wild fire of sexual abuse cases, with over 120 allegations of sexual assault dating back to 1991. A video in her court case shows Combs dragging Ventura down a hotel hallway. Ventura made claims of sexual assault and physical abuse to the federal court of New York. Other allegations include Combs gang raping women, spiking drinks and numerous death threats towards his victims. Combs’ attorney, Ben Brafman, argued that all of these allegations are false, despite numerous other women making the same claims. Currently, Combs is pleading not guilty to all trials and is being held in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center without the possibility of bail. Of Combs’ accusers, there are 25 minors with the youngest being 9-years-old.

Much of P Diddy’s fame and popularity results from his exclusive and extravagant “white parties,” also known as “freak-offs,” according to Forbes Magazine. Allegedly, these parties were a hub for pornography and sex trafficking. Many A-Lister celebrities have been seen attending these parties, including Ashton Kutcher, Leonardo DiCaprio and Donald J. Trump. Several employees at these white parties have said that they were “grotesque and incriminating.” According to “BBC News”, “Both men and women say they were coerced or forced into sex, either by Mr Combs or those in his entourage. Others say they obliged because they were intimidated by Mr Combs and the power he held in the entertainment industry.”

In recent news, during an interview with Jaguar Wright, Piers Morgan suggested a connection between Beyonce and Jay-Z to Combs’ recent allegations. The couple’s attorney, Alex Spiro, quickly fired back, claiming Morgan’s comparisons are “nonsense and completely false.” In addition, many theorists have claimed celebrities thank Beyonce in their acceptance speeches over the years to avoid drama with Beyonce, Jay-Z and P Diddy. Many editing accounts on TikTok have been gathering clips of celebrities such as Adele and Lizzo profusely thanking Beyonce, claiming this was to avoid Beyonce and Diddy’s wrath.

As more details are revealed, the date for P Diddy’s trial has been set for May 5 of next year.
