Friday Brief: April 15, 2016

ASG Elections

Elections for Associated Student Government president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, and parliamentarian were held on Friday, April 15 from the start of nutrition at 9:50 until the end of lunch at 12:30. Ballots were submitted electronically for the first time through a survey for students’ learn accounts.

Boys’ Tennis

Boys lost to Calabasas 8-10 on April 12. On April 14, they won 15-3 against Oaks Christian, with Cruz Thayne sweeping his singles sets.

Softball

Girls’ varsity won 6-0 versus Westlake on April 14.

Baseball

Panthers lost 4-1 against Thousand Oaks last Friday, April 8. However, they won 3-2 versus Agoura one week later.

Boys’ Lacrosse

Panthers won by a large margin, 16-5, against Thousand Oaks on April 8. Chasen Colter and Erich Wuesthoff each scored three goals. On April 13, boys won again 17-1 against Calabasas, with Reid Saucier, junior, scoring six goals. On April 15, they won 16-8 over Oaks Christian.

Swim Team

All four varsity and junior varsity teams won in their match against Thousand Oaks last Friday, April 8. Varsity girls won 100-70, while boys won 105-65.

Boys’ Volleyball

Panthers won against Calabasas 3-1 on April 13. Tim Baldwin had 19 kills. On April 15, they won 3-0 against Oaks Christian.
