Oaks Christian School [OCS] is scheduled to open a transitional kindergarten [TK]-third grade campus at 975 Evenstar Avenue in Westlake Village in August 2026, expanding the institution to encompass grades TK-12. Rob Black, Head Of School, announced the news on March 26 at OC’s annual gala event at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.
The TK and kindergarten grade levels will be a full day program, offering free before-school care at 7 a.m, as well as after school care until 6 p.m. for an additional cost, according to the OCS website. “We are excited to provide a full day program for TK/K students which includes both developmentally appropriate academic rigor and a variety of enrichment classes,” the website said. The tuition cost for the TK-third grade levels will be $33,380 with a $5,000 property credit, leading the final cost to be $28,380.
TK-third grade will be separate from the main campus, which is located on 31749 La Tienda Rd in Westlake Village and currently encompasses grades 4-12. Oaks Christian’s lease agreement with the Conejo Valley Unified School District for the Evenstar property was signed in 2025. The property was the former location of Carden Conejo, whose lease was terminated by CVUSD in 2021, and has now taken over the old site of La Reina High School and Middle School.
OCS welcomed families to attend the Open House on Nov. 2 from 1 to 4 p.m. According to the OCS facebook page, the event was packed with student-led tours, performances and classroom demonstrations, and an Elementary Experience Zone for families interested in the TK-third grade programs. Additionally, an information night is scheduled on Jan. 15, 2026 from 7 to 9 p.m., and, according to the OCS website, will involve “a brief information session about our academic programs, co-curricular opportunities, spiritual life, and admissions process.” Applications for the new grade levels are open and available on OCS’s website.
