Staff members debate if peppermint is “mint” to be

Item #1- Dark chocolate dipped candy cane marshmallows

Price point: $3.99

Kate’s Review: 7/10, The dark chocolate shell and candy cane pieces on top provided a nice crunch but I found the marshmallow part to have an offputting soft texture.

Athena’s Review: 3/10, The consistency of the marshmallow was unpleasant and the contrast between the chocolate and mint was drastic. The flavors were not cohesive, and for such a tiny snack, there was too much going on.

Item #2- Mini dark chocolate mint stars

Price point: $4.99

Kate’s Review: 10/10, These treats were addictive, crunchy cookies dipped in a decadent chocolate. The mint flavor wasn’t overwhelming and this box would be hard to put down any time of year.

Athena’s Review: 5/10, Out of all the mint treats, this was by far the best. Personally I would never gravitate towards anything peppermint flavored, but these star shaped snacks were tolerable.

Item #3- Peppermint bark

Price point: $13.99

Kate’s Review: 9/10, These pieces of peppermint bark were huge but the peppermint white chocolate paired with the dark chocolate was a decadent combo. However, these were a bit thick which made them hard to bite into.

Athena’s Review: 2/10, The peppermint bark was not only difficult to eat but also not worth digesting. The flavours of this dessert were overpowering one another.

Item #4- Chocolate covered peppermint jo jo’s

Price point: $4.99

Kate’s Review: 3/10, While I may be a fan of peppermint, the filling in these tasted like straight toothpaste. The chocolate cookie wasn’t crunchy enough and the chocolate coating with the filling made my taste buds scream.

Athena’s Review: 1/10, These were my least favorite snack. The “Oreo” like cookies were extremely hard to eat and were too sweet.
